Whitney Elizabeth Houston was the youngest of the children of the singer Dionne Warswick as well as gospel music legend Cissy Houston. Whitney Elizabeth Houston grew up in a musical household. She won her first six Grammy Awards. The 1987 follow-up album Whitney featuring the hit songs What Do Broken Hearts Go and I Wanna Dance With Somebody built on her success but it was the 1992 film The Bodyguard (1992) that made her one of the most successful artists in history. Though the movie was not very well received, nor did her performance, the soundtrack to her Dolly Parton version I Will Always Love You was able to reach the number one spot on both the albums and singles charts in the United States for months. She sold 44,000,000 copies. Her daughter Bobbi was born in March of 1993, the year she got married to Bobby Brown. Dana Bash, also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz, is an American anchorwoman and journalist who serves as a political correspondent at CNN.
