Barber made the move from a weight class from Flyweight to Flyweight and also made her debut in the weight class at UFC Fight Night: Thompson and. Pettis against JJ Aldrich. Barber's dominance grew throughout the UFC after she knocked out Aldrich at UFC Fight Night Thompson against. Pettis vs. JJ Aldrich. Then she knocked out Gillian Robertson in UFC on ESPN Reyes vs. Weidman. Roxanne Modafferi snapped Barber's UFC 3 fight winning streak in UFC 246. Roxanne defeated Barber by unanimous decision. Maycee continued her poor record as she took loss in a unanimous decision against AlexaGrasso in UFC 258. Barber's next fight was with Miranda Maverick, at UFC on ESPN Sandhagen Dillashaw: Sandhagen took the win via split decision. Barber beat Montana De La Rosa in UFC Fight Night 205, on the 23rd of April 2022. It was decided unanimously. Barber went on to replace Casey O'Neill and fight Jessica Eye at UFC 276 in July 2022. Barber was victorious in this fight with an unanimous vote. It was her last fight with UFC. Then, later in the same year, she re-signed. Barber won her latest fight with Andrea Lee, on March 25th of 2023. The match took place in UFC Fight Night Vera and Sandhagen.
