Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is a native of Canada. She is most well-known to Canadians due to her work as an Canadian actress in the Freeform fantasy show Shadowhunters. She also appeared in Venevision telenovelas Cosita linda and Voltea a' que te love. Model and dancer by profession Toubia also has achieved the success she has achieved in both areas. She is a Montreal resident, she was born and raised up in Texas and has been interested in dance and performing. She's been training in diverse styles of dance since her early years. As she reached the age of 15 old, she began taking part in beauty contests. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia gained a lot of attention in 2008, after she was a part of two seasons of Univision beauty pageant program Nuestra Belleza Latina. In 2010, she made her debut on stage as a receptionist for the Telemundo's television show Aurora. In 2015, she appeared in her first feature film, the action-drama Tattooed Love.
